The Bridgeton Neighborhood Association is organized for the purpose of improving the livability and quality of life in our neighborhood. The association has been recognized as one of the more active and proactive associations in the Portland, Oregon area. It includes an area in the Portland, Oregon North Harbour on the south channel of the Columbia River.
Bridgeton is a community of many living styles including: traditional residential housing, house boats and live-aboard boats, townhomes, upscale apartment and condomonium communites. it also has many marinas and marine related businesses. The neighborhood continues to grow with new retail centers, riverside condominium development, residence hotel and restaurants. The Max Light Rail system and the interstate freeway system are available at the west end of the Bridgeton neighborhood and the Portland International Airport is just minutes east off Marine Drive.
Our residents enjoy many local recreational opportunities including sports fields, golf, parks, water activities including boating, sailing, and fishing. The forty mile loop bike trail passes through the Bridgeton neighborhood making walking and bicycling popular pastimes. Shopping, dining, and entertainment are available within a few minutes of our doors with other shopping available in nearby Vancouver and the central area of Portland.
